چکیده
Tau is a protein that has received national mainstream recognition for its potential negative impact to the brain. This review succinctly provides information on structure of tau and normal physiological functions, including in hibernation changes throughout estrus cycle. There are many pathways involved phosphorylating diabetes, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease (AD), brain injury, aging, drug use. The common mechanisms these processes put into context with observed mild repetitive traumatic injury (TBI). phosphorylation part progression pathology, but ability aggregate propagate also addressed. Summarizing both functional dysfunctional roles can help advance our understanding this complex protein, improve care individuals history TBI, lead development therapeutic interventions prevent or reverse tau-mediated neurodegeneration.

Tau Oligomers in Traumatic Brain Injury
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a serious problem affecting millions of people in the United States alone. Multiple concussions or even a single moderate-severe TBI can also predispose individuals to develop a pathologically distinct form of tauopathyrelated dementia at an early age. No effective treatments are currently available for TBI or TBI-related dementia; moreover, only recently has ins...
متن کاملCerebral Microvascular Injury in Traumatic Brain Injury
Traumatic cerebral vascular injury (TCVI) is a frequent, perhaps universal, feature after traumatic brain injury (TBI) and may be responsible for for some TBI-related chronic disabilities. Because there are multiple pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies that promote vascular health, TCVI is an attractive target for therapeutic intervention after TBI. The cerebral microvasculature (CMV) ...

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a significant public health concern in our country, because of placing in top three most common causes of death and substantial direct and indirect costs to society. The incidence of TBI in our country is 1.7 times of international incidence. Traumatic brain injury induced by primary and secondary mechanisms that give rise to death and neurologic morbidity in pat...
